North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper has stated that school in the fall could include at least some form of in-person classroom instruction. Moore County Schools understands and empathizes with our families that may feel uncomfortable sending students back to school as well as our teachers who may be unable to return to in-person instruction

For these reasons, we are offering an entirely remote learning option for instruction this fall, regardless of whether in-person instruction proceeds. Under the current context of the COVID-19 pandemic, if you choose this option, your child will not be able to participate in extracurricular activities and athletics for the entire fall semester (August 17-December 18, 2020).

In order to quickly begin the staffing process, the deadline for submitting this form is Thursday, July 23, 2020.
